I had a very disappointing experience with this driving instructor. He is extremely impatient, which made me lose confidence in my driving, and I often felt nervous during the lessons. On top of that, his car has a very strong smell of smoke, and every session left me feeling dizzy and with a headache. Overall, the learning environment was uncomfortable and stressful. Ali is fantastic. I'm an older learner, I tried many times with other instructors 10 years ago but would cry a lot during lessons from the anxiety of it all. Not only has Ali taught me how to drive but he's taught me to enjoy it too! I never thought driving would be something for me but now I feel so differently about it. He helped me push through the anxiety of it all, I did have bad days but he keeps tissues in the car and is so patient and non-judgemental. I passed my test first time yesterday! It's a bittersweet feeling because now I can drive but I will miss our lessons together. Previously I had been trying for years with several different instructors, and I was starting to worry that I'd never pass, especially after some bad experiences. But Ali completely turned it around for me. Lessons with him were always relaxed and enjoyable; he is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and an exceptional teacher. No one else I had lessons with even comes close to his level of skill and professionalism. He explains things clearly, is incredibly patient and supportive, and full of encouragement. He made me feel optimistic and confident all the way through to passing my test. I passed my driving test today (on my 3rd attempt 😅), and I genuinely couldn’t have done it without my instructor, Ali Adnan! From day one, Ali has been incredibly patient, supportive, and understanding. There were times when I was really nervous — especially with things like parking (I may have even had a few emotional moments over it 🙈), but he never once lost patience. Instead, he kept encouraging me, breaking things down step by step, and helping me build my confidence. What really stood out was how clearly he explains everything. He always had his book/notepad ready to go through mistakes, explain how to improve, and even help me understand why things are done a certain way on the road. That made a huge difference, especially as I was getting used to driving habits in the UK.
